A Wonderful Weekend...

Friday:
After work, I took the bus to AMK to buy the Tickets for "Dark Knight" at Grand Cathay Midnight Show.. Heard so much reviews from frens and media, I had to catch that movie in the Grand Cathay, where it promises both visual and acoustics satisfaction. Went home to watch Guinness 9 Ball Tour - this Leg, the event was held at Velocity @ Novena. I am going down to Velocity tml to catch the LIVE action, as baby and me had tickets to the event.





The movie was thrilling as I expected it to be. Never seen Batman so desperate and begging a foe for information. But on the down side, we thought that we somehow wasted money, not because the movie was bad, it was because we were too tired after a day's work and was catching a MIDnight movie.... We could not entirely enjoy the movie.. What a waste..!

Saturday:
Met Baby and Belle at Novena Square for Breakfast before the event starts. We know that once u enter the arena, u cant leave the seat, as ppl queuing outside will take over. So we had to have a good meal, enough to last from 12noon till 6pm.
At the end of the day, the long awaited Lucky Draw is up, and we are excited because it states that one could win Goodie Bag worth $100 and a "PREDATOR" CUE... We always dream of getting a Predator Cuestick. Ironically, when the guy was announcing the winner, we kept hoping we DON't get it, because we thought you have to go up front and receive it with applause by spectators and flashes shooting at you. However, they called an Uncle's Name, and there is no need to go front, just collect backstage. Soon he announced the 2nd and FINAL WINNER: "FIONA LOW....!" We burst out laughing, cause Baby kept repeating, "Don't pick me, Don't pick me..!" I quickly raised my hands and say that shes here.. haha... It was hilarious.. Baby kept laughing.. Toto/4D also not so "ZHUN" la.. haha
After receiving the Goodie Bag then we realized there was no Predator Cuestick, maybe the Management changed the prizes, we don't know.. But the Goodie Bag is worth mentioning, for those who follows Guinness 9 Ball Tour, the following are really valuable to many people..:

Sunday:
Its my Bro's Birthday Lunch at Saruka@Tampines Safra. We had to celebrate earlier because this time Dad is in town. He will go back to Indonesia tml, and will be back again in October. Had a great lunch, long time since we had a meal together..

Internship

Its 7th July... The day i start my internship with Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (ICES). On the first day already i felt the hassle of waking up so early (6am) to go work. Cause we have a company bus that will pick all employees up at Jurong East MRT at 8am. Once u miss the bus, u are sure to be late. Not to mention, though u caught the 8am bus, U will also be late (reaching ICES at 8.40am).
Upon reaching the check-point, we got down and had to join the damn long queue to make a Jurong Island Pass. We waited for almost 3hrs plus, after which we had to take a 10min ride to ICES. Oh my... its so much hassle...But of course i will adapt to it sooner or later.. Hope my IA will be a smooth and fulfilling one..

Mission Accomplished...

After working at SIM for 1 month.. We finally completed our task of packing all the students' study materials.. It was a mundane and repetitive job i muz say, but with great colleagues and boss.. its was a great motivating factor that made us work throughout and happily.. Boss offered us to go back to work for the next semester, which packing starts in DEC. However, we will still be in our internship then.. So no choice had to turn him down.. Anyway, he wanted to treat us dinner sometime this weekend..and of course to show our appreciation to him for taking care of us during the period of 1 month.. We shared to buy a wallet from him.. He was very happy when he received it..

Happy Birthday to ME....!

I celebrated my 25th Birthday with Baby and Uni Frens this year.. Went to Manhattan Fish Market for a Dinner.. Its was very crowded.. There was a long queue outside.. so we decided not to carry on with cutting my cake at the restaurant, thou it was suppose to be a surprise that baby wanted to give me.. she went early to Manhattan to have my cake kept there 1st, and told the waitress to serve when we have finish dinner.. but she accidentally spilled it out.. And its surprise no more.. (Baby, i do appreciate your efforts anyway.. thanks. !).
After dinner we walk around the whole of clarke quay trying to find a place for me to cut my cake.. but all restaurants are so full now.. we headed to Brewerkz and we were in the waiting list. With at least an hr's wait is required. we gave up Brewerkz, therefore i suggested CoffeeClub which usually has lesser people. We ended up at Coffeeclub express then..

This year I received quite a number of gifts.. Thanks Everyone..!
