Dinner @ Giraffe

It's Wenjun and Sarah's Birthday celebration at Giraffe, a restaurant located at Istana Park. It was a belated celebration thou.. Sorry Guys..
The food and service at Giraffe was average considering the price that we paid. Its more of paying for the ambience. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time there, we took lots of pictures and had a cake cutting "ceremony". And after that Mr. Wee Hock

volunteered to cut the cake for distribution, and he made a mess out of it..

Luckily the cake was delicious, if not by the look of it, I would not had finish the whole cake. "Thanks" Wee Hock... Cant blame him la, the cake had already melted, so its too soft to cut a proper slice..
We caught up alot, as Sarah is studying this sem and the rest of us attachment, so she updated us with school and be prepared for a very difficult course next sem.. Haiy..

Lighting up the night Sky...

Went for the Friday Session of the Fireworks Festival 2008. It was drizzling when I met baby. The whole city hall station was crowded and we had problem getting dinner. Until i suggested BK at Millenia Walk, when we got there, we still able to grab seats. Settled our dinner and walked to open area near the floating stadium, hoping to get a good view of the fireworks, as we did not buy the tickets for the floating stadium. As we walk towards the open area, we realized there weren't many people, most of them where flocking towards the floating stadium. Lucky us, we got a great view, able to be just beside the floating stadium at 8.30pm. Usually the past years, an hr before the fireworks display, you can hardly get a nice view, people were already there camping as early as 2-3hrs before, just to be right in front. The fireworks displayed started at 9.20pm, and it was spectacular.. France Pyrotechnics Team who choreograph the whole display did a great job.. The fireworks synchronized with music of different genre. Very NIcely lighting up the dark sky..
Of course, i tried taking photo with my camera and the outcome was ok. Considering a Point and Shoot camera..

Our view, right in front.. haha

Happy Anniversary...

Its the time of the year when we always think back and reminiscences how we got to know one another and fall in love. The ups and downs that we had gone through. I'm so fortunate to have her by my side through these years. She brightens up my day, making me a happier person everyday. She made me changed from such a foul tempered person into one who can tolerate and overlook unhappiness and move on, not bothered by what happened and cheer myself up. The biggest change over these years seems to be, me being a more talkative and PR person. Due to her character, I need to adapt. She can talk to anyone, anywhere. People also like to talk to her i suppose. Think she got good "REN YUAN". Me, 4 years ago was someone who does not like to talk, quite an introvert. I don't socialize with people nor do i bother to initiate to talk to people. Thank You so much for being by my side. We have many more years of memories to create, share and remember.. I LOVE YOU, Baby..

Blissful...

Last fri (08/08/08), I attended my cousin's wedding at Intercontinental Hotel. Its time i test out my new camera.. haha.. So upon reaching the venue we kept taking pics.. Soon at 8.08pm the wedding proper begin. The usual march in with classical music, as my cousin is a musician. There was some hiccups thou, with a few moments of silence and disorientation. And a missing element when we were eating, its too quiet and the music doesn't suit the occasion. Its something I like to observe and learn, I somehow like to go to weddings, to see their planning and how they manage the whole dinner. Cause it will be my turn one day, and I hope to make every guest as happy as possible. However, these are the pics we took with my camera.. Haha.

Finally got it...!

After so long of consideration whether to buy a camera or not due to $$ concerns.... I finally bought it on Sunday. Of course, its because my dad offered to sponsor half of the total price. So happy!.. haha.. My mum told me on sat that my dad willing to sponsor me half and early next morning i woke up at 10am, went to MS Color at AMK to see camera. When i got there, this very friendly uncle offered help and the service was great, he showed me a few cameras and told me their pros and cons. Very patient and dedicated. After showing me, he left me there to play with those cameras. It took me 30min to decide over LUMIX or CANON. I cant make a choice between them.. But finally I chose CANON IXUS 85 IS. Thats wat the uncle highly recommend too. On top of the service, the most important is they offer a more competitive price, $50 off the price from other retail outlets that I had asked.
