Its the F1 weekend, and as an enthusiast, Baby and me together with weijie and mingfong went down on Friday evening to catch the Practice 1 and Practice 2 sessions. Upon reaching, we went to have dinner at the basement of Raffles City, there were not many people in this Hong Kong Cafe Restaurant, so we went in. While eating, I told them not to pin too much hope on able to see the cars as i think there will be a huge crowd. However, things went pretty smoothly, the human traffic control was commendable. We followed some people and ended at Turn 7, which is just outside Suntec's Main Entrance. The view there was great and not too crowded. As the cars came, they had to slow down from the high speedway for this turn 7, due to gear changing, the car produces loud exploding sounds, it felt so good just listening to it..

TURN 7
Saturday evening i went back with waihoe to watch the practice session again, cause he wanted to feel and hear the F1 cars after I told him my experience on Fri. We met around 6.45pm, and i brought him to the same place that i stood on Fri. Upon reaching, he was hungry and asked me if i wanted to grab some food, but before he could move on i told him the practice had started, cause its very loud u can hear it roaring towards us from far. He tot that was all, until the 1st car whizzed passed us, he told me " WTH, wat was that, so powerful..!" It was hilarious, he told me he never expected such amplitude, its so much different from TV. However, after awhile we wanted to walk to the steps at marina to watch another view of the race. As we walked into marina, the cars passing by were causing tremors( i am not joking!) to the ground as we walked past esprit store. And of course, curiosity brought us to the area under esprit store, which is the open area outside carl's jr, usually the marina carpark's exit. When we reached, there were some guys cutting away the fasteners to the opaque cover. When they were cutting people were clapping, so interesting. Because after that everyone will have a great and clear view of the race. HAHA..Anyway, that track segment is the fastest sector, where the cars will reach speeds of about 280Km/hr. The sound there was ear-bursting, everyone were covering their ears. Engine sound of almost 19000 Revs.. WOW..!

Revving up at Expo...
Went down to Expo on Sunday as the Super Import Nights car exhibit were held there. Wenjun couldn't make it, he got to work on a Sunday!! We had to pay a entrance fee of $10. Which i tot was over-charged. There were lots of SKYLINE GTR-35 around the whole hall. Many dealers took in this car and pimped it, its a fast and beautiful car.. How nice if we could just have 1 GTR starting its engine... We kept looking around the car, its engine, interior, rims, eveything is so nice... Of course, to complete the show there are the race queens from various countries.. Don't look very pretty to me thou. Some look like Filipino maids.. Haha..But they are all very confident about themselves I must say, no wonder they are the race queens representing their country.

I hate NASI AYAM...!
Its Fri, and early morning i started my 1st episode of diarrhea which lasted throughout the day. Its so miserable, bad stomaches and sharp headache after lunch and i still have to work and analyze 1 data after the reaction. Planned to go for a dinner with ICES buddies after work but had to give it a miss due to my condition. My mum wanted me to go home and visit the doc. After work i took mrt home and it was a very torturing experience, my legs were soft after so many episodes of diarrhea and i am having giddy spells. I alight at Kranji and sat at the platform because i almost fainted in the MRT. Everything was blurry to me when i was standing in THAT CROWDED mrt. There was this stench that made me even worse. Never felt so bad before..
When i got home, my mum quickly drove me to the nearest clinic as the clinic opposite my block is not open. The doctor said that its food poisoning and i have to cut coconut, oily, spicy and milk products/food. After dinner, i ate medicine and i slept till sat morning..
SAT:
At about 1pm, baby came over to visit me.. But u know wat, she is also sick with bad cough and headache.. Once she came, she ask me to massage her back and stomach cause its painful due to the coughing. Wat a "wonderful" baby right.. haha.. Asking a sick person to do these, she claims that she is more severe than me, so i must take care of her.. But its ok la, looking at her condition,i am willing to massage for her.. Hope we get well soon.. Thanks baby for coming over after all, despite ur illness..
Because of this illness, i totally burnt my weekend away, 1st is my Friday's Dinner with ICES fren and next is I have to forgo sending my sister off for her School of Optometry
's "Vision Outreach"(India). Where a group of 10 plus 3 lecturers will visit the rural outskirts of India to examine the eyes of the kids there and match a glasses for them so that they can study and see better.. Hope her 2 weeks there will be fulfilling and fun..
Now i just want to get well by sunday, so that i can go play pool, its been 2 weeks since my last game. My hands are itchy man.. On top of it, i have a wedding to attend too.. So if i don't get well.. My whole activities-filled weekend will be burnt by that stupid PACKET OF NASI AYAM... Will never eat it again!!

Xtreme Fidelity...
Last fri, I went down to Comex to grab the Creative X-Fi wireless device.. Always wanted to get one of these when the 1st generation was introduced into the market, but it was quite expensive then.. However, when I saw the flyer that my fren took from Comex, I got excited over the price slash for this device. Its more than 50% off the original price!!
Now, I am listening to great acoustics.. Thanks to the X-Fi crystallizer and X-fi CMSS-3D functions that the Xmod Wireless promises.. Its so relaxing to listen to classical music when the output is so crispy and surrounded... What a good Buy...!!
